Elizabeth Thompson-MacRae

In March 2020 Elizabeth became a Court Archivist for the National Records of Scotland, where she is responsible for records relating to Scotland’s Supreme Courts, Land Court and Registers of Scotland. Previously, she has worked in a variety of project and consultancy roles in the private and third sector. Joining the Scottish Government in 2017, she trained as an Internal Auditor for several years before moving to her current role. Elizabeth gained a post-graduate certificate in Archive and Records Management from Dundee University in 2012, where she specialised in information legislation and oral histories.
At present Elizabeth is working towards becoming a Registered member of ARA and keeps in touch with members from the ARA Section for Business Records, where she previously held the role of Joint Communications Officer.
