Lisa Snook - Professional Development

Chair of the Board

In June 2019, Lisa became the County Archivist at Gwent Archives, moving to south Wales from her previous role at Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service. She qualified as an Archivist from the University of Liverpool in 2003 having recently obtained her PhD from Swansea University. In 2008 she became a Registered member of ARA, and qualified as a Fellow of the ARA in 2020.

In addition to her role on the Board, Lisa is also vice-Chair of the ARA National Surveys Group and is a mentor and assessor on the Professional Development Programme, roles she particularly enjoys and intends to continue.
