Peer Pals is a virtual mentoring programme aimed at supporting those entering a career in archives, records management or conservation run by the Section for New Professionals.
It aims to support mentees who are considering a career in the sector or beginning their studies, an apprenticeship, internship or volunteer placement by pairing them with a mentor who is a further along in their experience as a new professional. The programme encourages the sharing of experiences and can be used to tackle short-term problems or isolated questions or a more sustained relationship of knowledge sharing. To find out more about the programme and whether it’s for you, please read the Peer Pals Guidebook or if you have any further questions, email the Section for New Professionals on newprofessionals@archives.org.uk.
Ready and raring to be a mentor or mentee? Please fill out the relevant profile form below and email it to us on newprofessionals@archives.org.uk so we can match you to a Peer Pal.
