How you can work with Academia and how Academia can work for you: realising fruitful partnerships

This event is aimed at members of ARA SW region and non-members - also open to archivists, volunteers, curators and librarians who are responsible for collections working in archives, special collections, museums and galleries.

Heritage professionals can play a role in not just supporting but acting as collaborative partners and leaders in scholarly research. This session offers a chance to hear about different partnerships and case studies within the South West.  It will also provide a space in which to explore overcoming barriers and how academia could potentially work with you.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Matt Greenhall (Research Libraries UK)

  • Phil Wickham (Bill Douglas Cinema Museum / University of Exeter)

  • Jo Elsworth (Theatre Collection, University of Bristol)

  • Helena Jaeschke (Pest Partners project, South West Museum Development)

  • Anona Williams (South, West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership)
