Ruth MacLeod
Vice Chair
Ruth is currently Data Curator and Archivist for London South Bank University, covering research data as well as archives. She has previously worked in both local government and other university archives and is a former chair of ARA London region. Ruth has been a member of ARA since 2005 and a Registered member since 2013 and is a mentor and an assessor for the ARA CPD scheme. She was a recruited member of the Archives Service Accreditation Committee from 2013 to 2019 and is keen to use this experience of looking at archives services in thinking about how record-keeping professionals can develop themselves and how the ARA can help, as well as how ARA itself can improve. There is great work being done by ARA and it’s important that our members know about that and can get involved.
Outside of archives, Ruth is very slowly working on achieving her next kickboxing belt but is easily diverted by fiction and cocktails
