Richard Wade

I work at Essex Record Office undertaking the full range of public facing and collections-based tasks and taking the lead on digital preservation activities, having previously worked at Herefordshire Archive Service. I have also previously volunteered with ARA, having been Events Officer for the Section for New Professionals, Regional Representative for the West Midlands Region and Chair of the West Midlands Region. I also represented the West Midlands Region of the board of Archives West Midlands. I would like to continue contributing to the wider profession and hope to be able to bring experience of my workplace activities and previous ARA roles to the board to try and ensure that ARA continues to provide the best possible services and support to all its members.
