Surveying: A Vital Tool for Rescuing and Responding to Records at Risk

The Archives and Record Association is pleased to offer the first of two online workshops to explore further the topic of surveying records. ARA is working with partners at the National Archives, Business Archives Council and Business Archives Council of Scotland to deliver these workshops. Speakers and further details to be confirmed.

The workshops are in response to the interest shown in further events at the conference A Re-appraisal of Surveying: A Vital Archival Tool for Contemporary Collecting held in memory of Professor Michael Moss earlier this year.

The first workshop will focus on reactive surveying and surveying as a tool to deal with records at risk. A second workshop will look at proactive surveying as a tool for collection development and be held in early 2023.
