The Explore Your Archive team has a number of vacancies which may be of interest. Working for the campaign is a great way to build up your professional network, get your name out into the sector and work towards CPD goals. No travel is required, and every role has more than one officer to keep volunteering time low (around 3 – 4 hours a month) Full training will be given for each role and we are keen to work with people at any career stage.
We have the following vacancies –
Admin Officer – This role is responsible for keeping an eye on the EYA email inbox and producing the monthly newsletter using Mailchimp. They also help to create graphics using Canva.
Spotlight Officer – This role focuses on the EYA website exhibition page – “Spotlight”. The exhibition changes 4 times a year and the role involves sourcing new partners, guiding them through creating the content, ensuring the correct permissions are in place, and making the content live on the EYA website, which uses WordPress.
WebDev Officer – The EYA website is updated regularly, and new content is added as it is created. This role is responsible for keeping the website up to date, refreshing web page design and recording website usage statistics.
Resource Officer – The resource officers create new content to be added to the website, usually on the ArchI’ve Learned pages. This includes research guides, short clips, learning resources and guides. This role can be tailored to the persons specific interests.
Podcast Officer – This year we are keen to re-launch the EYA podcast “Outside the Box”. We are looking for people to help with all aspects of content creation and podcast production.
